Bon Teavant offers the tea connoisseur access to both traditional and experimental teas, teaware, and ideas relating to tea.
Bon Teavant is the offering of photographer, writer, and tea connoisseur Jennifer Sauer, who was so enchanted by the blossoming tea culture in her home base of San Francisco that she decided to write a book about it. In 2007 The Way to Tea: Your Adventure Guide to San Francisco Tea Culture was published.
Some years passed, and that was not enough. Having met so many fine tea people, she wanted to find a way to continue to share the knowledge, experiences, ideas and products of her new tea friends.
Bon Teavant Media and Bon Teavant Market are the outcome of this vision -- Bon Teavant Media as a reference and forum for sharing ideas and experiences with tea and tea culture, and Bon Teavant Market as a centralized marketplace for purchasing our unique in-house brand's tea and teaware as well as the products of other tea merchants who source their teas directly from Asia.
Emphasis is placed on healthy, organic, handcrafted, and simply fascinating teas and tea ware that are hard to find elsewhere. We hope you will love what we offer as much as we love sharing it.
